Rayleigh Operatic and Dramatic Society (RODS) present a comedy play - ‘The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery’ by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr 15th to 17th May 2025 at The Mill Arts & Events Centre, Rayleigh.
Farndale is abuzz with excitement as the Townswomen’s Guild prepare to stage their elaborately planned whodunit, Murder at Checkmate Manor.
But as the show begins it seems everything that can go wrong does! Scenery collapses, lines are forgotten, cues are missed and all manner of props and sound effects appear in the strangest places.
Can the eminent Mrs Reece elevate the production and deliver a truly stunning conclusion whilst overseeing a fashion show and audience quiz amongst the chaos?
