The Mill Arts and Events Centre (The Mill) is a multi-purpose venue within Rayleigh, that hosts a variety of bookings. With three flexible spaces available to hire, whether it is a concert, live performance, craft fair, or a private party, The Mill is the perfect venue for your needs.
Perfectly Located
In the heart of Rayleigh, The Mill is in the perfect location for all bookings and events. Situated just off Rayleigh High Street, The Mill is located next to the iconic Rayleigh Windmill and Rayleigh Mount.
Rayleigh Train Station is a short distance away and is part of the train line between the cities of London and Southend-on-Sea. Bus routes are also available from the nearby Rayleigh High Street.
There are two pay and display car parks directly outside the venue, which are free after 1pm on Saturdays and free every Sunday.
The Main Hall
The Main Hall is a large and flexible hireable space, which regularly hosts a variety of events, including concerts, live performances, private parties, and craft fairs. Located on the ground floor, the Main Hall is the largest hall available.
Included with the Main Hall is the Performers Bar, which can also be closed via partitions from the hall during your show.
A heavy duty stage is also available, which offers flexibility to ensure we can accommodate all booking needs. The stage is comprised of 2m x 1m platforms, with a maximum stage size of 12m x 6m. Access to a backstage dressing room is also available.

The Bar Lounge
Located on the first floor, the Bar Lounge is a function room which can accommodate a capacity of up to 100 attendees. Offering the newly refurbished Millers Bar, the Bar Lounge is an ideal space for private parties and celebrations, presentations, and children parties.
The Meeting Room
The Meeting Room is located on the ground floor, and is suitable for meetings, small presentations, and training courses. The Meeting Room can accommodate a maximum seating capacity of 25 attendees.
